Lucky Romance Korean drama storyline
"Fortuitous Infatuation" is a South Korean romance-comedy series that was broadcasted in the year 2016.The story revolves around the life of Shim Bo-nui, a superstitious and financially struggling woman who believes that she can change her luck and overcome her financial difficulties by sleeping with a virgin man born in the year of the tiger.
Bo-nui is plagued by misfortunes and believes that she is cursed after her younger sister falls into a coma due to a car accident. In order to find the right person to sleep with, she seeks the help of a fortune teller who informs her that she must find a man with the name "Shim" and who was born in the year of the tiger.
Coincidentally, she encounters a genius game developer named Je Soo-ho, who also happens to be a CEO of a gaming company. Soo-ho is highly intelligent and successful but suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and has a cynical view of love. Bo-nui mistakenly believes that Soo-ho is the person who can change her luck and starts to pursue him.
However, Soo-ho is not interested in superstitions and dismisses Bo-nui's advances. He sees her as a nuisance and tries to distance himself from her. Despite Soo-ho's initial rejection, Bo-nui continues to cross paths with him and eventually convinces him to hire her as an employee at his gaming company.
As Bo-nui works alongside Soo-ho, she slowly begins to change his perspective on love and relationships. They develop a unique bond and gradually fall in love. However, their relationship faces numerous obstacles, including Soo-ho's emotional baggage and the interference of other individuals who are interested in Soo-ho.
